What You Can Do:
The Republican supermajority in both chambers of the NCGA – a result of extreme gerrymandering – has led to policies that don’t reflect the priorities of most North Carolinians, regardless of party. We must return to a legislature that truly represents the people, where votes matter and there are no "safe seats."
The first step is to break the Republican supermajority. Only 4 of the 120 NC House seats need to flip for Democrats to make it happen. This is absolutely an achievable goal. In Wake County alone, two of the current Republican-held NC House districts went for Governor Cooper; a third went for McCrory by only a hair (<1%).
