Talk to Friends and Family

Voter outreach shouldn’t be limited to interacting with people you don’t know. Between now and Nov. 6, talk with your friends, family members, and acquaintances about the importance of their vote. You’d be surprised how many people - even those who seem politically engaged - sit out during non-presidential election years.

Encourage folks to check their voter registration status, print sample ballots for friends, post information on social media about the importance of voting against all six constitutional amendments, make plans to vote early with a friend - there is so much you can do to make a difference just within your circle.

Want to know which of your friends aren’t voting and how best to talk to them to get them to the polls? Join the Relational Voter Program through our partner NC Wins, or email Briana to learn more.
